Energize your audience with a professional emcee

Your event has one shot at a first impression. The host sets the tone for everything that follows, from the opening welcome to the final send-off. I bring 20 years of live event experience, an Emmy and Telly Award-winning vocal performance background, and dedicated emcee training to keep your audience engaged and your event running on time.

What I bring to your stage

I’ve spent two decades performing on stages of all sizes. As a lead singer performing both independently and with a premium band, I’ve spent hundreds of hours on stage – reading live audiences, adjusting my energy, pacing, and presence in real time. As a voice actor, I’ve announced for corporate events with thousands of attendees, introduced headlining acts, and kept live audiences on track through complex multi-day programs. Those musical performance and Voice of God announcing experiences gave me the live event instincts that carry directly into hosting: reading a room, adapting to schedule changes on the fly, and keeping energy high without pulling focus from the people and moments your audience came to see.

I recently completed Devon Brown’s “Awesome on Stage” pro emcee training. Often credited as “the world’s number one emcee”, Devon has served as emcee for Tony Robbins, Russell Brunson’s Funnel Hacking Live, and the Aspire Tour featuring Codie Sanchez, among others. His methodology matched what I’d already learned through years of live performance and added the structural hosting techniques that separate a good MC from someone that cultivates an event your audience enjoys and remembers.

My conference speaking background adds another layer here. I’ve been a featured speaker and panelist at VO Atlanta, One Voice USA, the Euro VO Retreat in Holland, and I spoke at government procurement conferences during my corporate career while working positions in both state and federal government. I know what good hosting looks like from both sides of the stage.

As a working voice actor with a professional broadcast quality home studio and travel booth, I regularly travel with studio grade, professional recording gear. This allows me to prerecord your VOG announcements if desired and accommodate evolving copy or client requested tone and performance style changes on the fly while onsite. My technical aptitude can help lighten your audio team’s load by providing VO files to your technical specifications that are ready to drop in. I’m available for events locally in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, but also able to travel around the globe to wherever your event takes you.

Events I host

I’m available for corporate events, conferences, galas, award ceremonies, fundraisers, community events, and live entertainment showcases. Whether your event is 50 people in a ballroom or thousands in a convention center, I’ll work with your production team to learn the run of show, prepare for every transition, encourage your speakers or performers, and handle the unexpected without your audience noticing.

I’m based in Atlanta, Georgia and travel worldwide for in-person events. For hybrid or virtual events, I work from my professional broadcast-quality studio with Source Connect capability and high-speed connectivity, or am happy to join your production in the studio of your choice.

Frequently asked questions

How do you prepare for an event?

I start with your run of show, speaker bios, and any pronunciation guides well before the event date. I’ll join a production call or rehearsal if one is scheduled, and I always arrive early on event day to walk the stage, meet your AV team, and confirm cue points. Preparation means fewer surprises for everyone.

What’s the difference between event hosting and Voice of God announcing?

A Voice of God announcer is heard but not seen. The announcer introduces speakers, reads sponsor acknowledgments, and guides the audience from offstage or a booth. An event host is on stage, visible, and interactive. I do both, and many events call for a combination of the two.

Do you travel for events?

Yes. I’m based in Atlanta and available for events across the world. I travel with my own portable recording setup for any pre-recorded elements your event might need, and I coordinate with your production team on technical requirements in advance.

Do you sing at events?

Absolutely! As a professional singer with over 25 years of live performance experience, I’m happy to serve as your next national anthem singer as well.
